Vintage Art Deco Sterling Silver Perfume Bottle Cage, Glass Bottle, 1920s-1930s

$85.00

A cool little piece of history!

This little perfume bottle dates to the 1920s or 1930s and consists of a small glass bottle tucked inside a beautiful metal lattice cage. The cage is stamped “Sterling” near the bottom, although the mark is small and difficult to see in person (and even harder to photograph!).

The latticework is what really makes this piece. It's delicate, geometric, and has that wonderful Art Deco look that makes even a tiny object feel special.

A few things to know: the stopper is missing, and we're not quite sure whether the bottle functions as it originally was intended to. Please take a good look at the condition notes and all of the photos before purchasing.

But here's where we think it gets really fun: this would make a very cool pendant. The cage is already begging to be worn, and we can absolutely see this becoming a wonderfully unusual piece of jewelry.

A charming little bit of Art Deco history with plenty of potential for a second life.
